Position Overview

The Manufacturing Associate supports manufacturing processes within a designated area, ensuring strict adherence to cGMPs, standard operating procedures, and quality regulations. This role operates in a cleanroom/sterile environment requiring regular gowning and compliance with all procedures to ensure patient safety.

Preferred Experience: Cleanroom, laboratory, or sterile manufacturing environment, and prior GMP experience.

Shifts:

  • Front End (Sunday–Wednesday): Day 7AM–7PM | Night 7PM–7AM

  • Back End (Wednesday–Sunday): Day 7AM–7PM | Night 7PM–7AM

  • Rotation: Every other Wednesday

Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform product manufacturing and support activities

  • Complete routine manufacturing documentation accurately

  • Support in-process activities and product development as directed

  • Implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives

  • Conduct area equipment and process validations per protocol

  • Perform in-process product testing following standard procedures

  • Assist other departments with manufacturing activities as required

  • Conduct all duties in compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and company standards

  • Demonstrate Novo Nordisk values and the “10 Essentials” in daily work and interactions


Physical Requirements

  • Occasional overnight travel (0–10%)

  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, reach, stand, walk, push, lift, grasp, and manipulate objects

  • Frequent repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers

  • Lift up to 10 pounds occasionally

  • Visual acuity for detailed activities (reading, writing, analyzing)

  • Work environment includes noise, moving machinery, chemicals, odors, fumes, and dust


Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or Associate Degree with ≥3 years of relevant manufacturing experience or

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a science discipline with 0 years’ experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Familiarity with cGMP operations preferred

  • Ability to understand and execute written instructions accurately
