Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the EXIM (Exports & Imports) function for all B. Braun India entities. The role will involve overseeing imports and exports for both trading operations of finished goods and manufacturing units for raw materials. You will work closely with regional and global counterparts to ensure compliance with government regulations, optimize logistics, and drive business objectives in line with B. Braun standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the EXIM function for B. Braun India entities, ensuring smooth import and export operations for both finished goods and raw materials.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams (Malaysia, Germany, Spain) for incoming shipments via sea and air.
  • Coordinate with local planning, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and regulatory teams.
  • Support the transition of capital goods and samples for marketing purposes.
  • Stay updated on government policies and notifications to ensure compliance.
  • Resolve queries and address notifications from Customs/DGFT.
  • Classify materials under applicable HSN codes to ensure duty payment compliance.
  • Work with CHA’s, consultants, shipping lines, and industry experts on key matters.
  • Leverage available benefits like Duty Drawback, Advance License, RoDTEP, EPCG, EOU’s, Duty scripts, and FTAs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in executing self-identified and management-driven projects.

Skills Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Indian Customs Act, international trade laws, customs processes, and documentation.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
  • Excellent command of English.

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate with MBA, PGD, or Certification in EXIM.
