Manager – Healthcare Research & Data Analytics (Hybrid, Karnataka)

Job Summary:

Clarivate is hiring a Manager for its Healthcare Research & Data Analytics division within the Medtech Data Team in Karnataka. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world healthcare data projects for leading biopharmaceutical and medical technology clients globally. The position requires expertise in handling large datasets, delivering actionable insights, and leading operations teams in data-driven healthcare research and analysis.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and address Clarivate customers’ pain points by providing data-driven solutions.

  • Manage and process large datasets for market modeling and business analysis.

  • Lead an operations team to ensure effective project execution.

  • Evaluate data outputs for trends, insights, and errors; implement corrective measures.

  • Design data experiments aimed at customer satisfaction and improved analytics.

  • Interact directly with clients to translate business requirements into data insights.

  • Influence the development of Clarivate’s data models, products, and usage strategies.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Biochemical, Biopharmaceutical, or related fields.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience handling large datasets and variables.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (mandatory).

  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.

  • Good grasp of statistical concepts and analytical methodologies.

  • Secondary research abilities and capability to synthesize findings.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing short and long-term projects end-to-end.


Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of Medtech data specific to Latin American healthcare markets.

  • Exposure to claims or pharmacy data.

  • Experience working with third-party data vendors.
