Job Description

ICON plc is seeking a Manager, Clinical Systems to lead the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of clinical technology systems that support global clinical trials.

In this role, you will oversee clinical system operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data collection, reporting, and trial management processes. Your work will contribute to improving the efficiency and integrity of clinical research systems used in drug development programs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of clinical systems used in clinical trial operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements aligned with clinical trial objectives.

  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide training and support to team members on clinical systems and tools.

  • Ensure systems comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and technology partners to support system initiatives.

  • Support improvements in clinical data collection, reporting, and operational efficiency.


Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, Clinical Research, or a related field.

  • Significant experience managing clinical systems or clinical technology platforms.

  • Strong understanding of clinical research processes and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience with clinical data management systems and trial technology platforms.
