About the Role
Pfizer is hiring an Associate Manager – Medical Communications and Content Solutions to support the development of high-quality, scientifically accurate, and compliance-driven medical content. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in medical writing, medical affairs, and scientific communication within the pharmaceutical, CRO, or biotech industry.
The selected candidate will contribute to a wide range of medical communication deliverables across global healthcare platforms while ensuring adherence to regulatory, compliance, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver diverse medical content including abstracts, manuscripts, congress presentations, posters, graphical abstracts, and systematic literature reviews
Create plain language summaries, slide decks, medical education materials, infographics, social media content, and multimedia assets
Conduct scientific research, data interpretation, and quality checks for technical and medical content
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Graphics, Compliance, Biostatistics, and Medical Affairs to deliver integrated content solutions
Ensure all deliverables meet defined timelines, quality benchmarks, and regulatory compliance standards
Utilize and adapt to new-age tools including generative AI platforms for efficient medical content creation
Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues under managerial guidance
Continuously upskill by mastering emerging tools and industry-relevant content development trends
Basic Qualifications
Advanced degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare (MS, MPharm, MRes, PharmD, PhD, MBBS, MD)
Minimum 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical medicine, medical affairs, or medical communications
Proven experience in medical writing, scientific communication, or academic writing
Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and content quality standards
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with adaptability across global audiences
Ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in specific therapeutic areas
Experience in omnichannel and multimedia medical content creation
Familiarity with digital tools, AI-based content platforms, and emerging communication technologies
Exposure to global or international work environments
Strong ability to adapt quickly to evolving content trends and healthcare communication strategies
