About the Role

Pfizer is hiring an Associate Manager – Medical Communications and Content Solutions to support the development of high-quality, scientifically accurate, and compliance-driven medical content. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in medical writing, medical affairs, and scientific communication within the pharmaceutical, CRO, or biotech industry.

The selected candidate will contribute to a wide range of medical communication deliverables across global healthcare platforms while ensuring adherence to regulatory, compliance, and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver diverse medical content including abstracts, manuscripts, congress presentations, posters, graphical abstracts, and systematic literature reviews

  • Create plain language summaries, slide decks, medical education materials, infographics, social media content, and multimedia assets

  • Conduct scientific research, data interpretation, and quality checks for technical and medical content

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Graphics, Compliance, Biostatistics, and Medical Affairs to deliver integrated content solutions

  • Ensure all deliverables meet defined timelines, quality benchmarks, and regulatory compliance standards

  • Utilize and adapt to new-age tools including generative AI platforms for efficient medical content creation

  • Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues under managerial guidance

  • Continuously upskill by mastering emerging tools and industry-relevant content development trends


Basic Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare (MS, MPharm, MRes, PharmD, PhD, MBBS, MD)

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical medicine, medical affairs, or medical communications

  • Proven experience in medical writing, scientific communication, or academic writing

  • Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and content quality standards

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with adaptability across global audiences

  • Ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in specific therapeutic areas

  • Experience in omnichannel and multimedia medical content creation

  • Familiarity with digital tools, AI-based content platforms, and emerging communication technologies

  • Exposure to global or international work environments

  • Strong ability to adapt quickly to evolving content trends and healthcare communication strategies
