Role Overview
The Expert Content Writer designs and develops scientifically accurate and engaging learning content for diverse audiences, including internal employees, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
The role requires translating complex scientific and clinical data into clear, instructional learning materials using instructional design principles and digital learning tools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Development
Design and develop high-quality learning materials (eLearning, workshops, assessments)
Translate complex scientific data into clear, audience-appropriate learning content
Ensure accuracy, scientific rigor, and engagement across deliverables
2. Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with internal teams, SMEs, and business units to gather requirements
Align content with therapeutic area and business objectives
Build strong stakeholder relationships
3. Performance & Quality
Deliver learning content within agreed timelines
Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback and learning outcomes
Continuously improve content quality and impact
4. Process & Tools
Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory
Manage end-to-end content development lifecycle
Use learning tools and platforms (eLearning authoring tools, LMS systems)
Collaborate with vendors for content production when required
Key Requirements
Experience
6–9 years in pharmaceutical/healthcare content creation or academic/scientific writing
Education
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related discipline
Skills
Strong scientific understanding of therapeutic areas
Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts
Instructional design knowledge and adult learning principles
Stakeholder management and communication skills
