What You Will Achieve

As a Manager in Clinical Data Management, your role is crucial in enhancing the oversight and management of clinical data. You will play a key role in processing, reviewing, and receiving patient data and records, ensuring that timely, accurate, and consistent clinical data reaches the medical department and other teams. You will be responsible for data management plans, including data preparation and validation activities, and be the primary point of contact for clinical trials, overseeing all Data Monitoring and Management (DMM) activities.

You will provide guidance to operational teams and utilize your planning skills to forecast resource requirements. Your knowledge of clinical research principles, concepts, and theories will be essential in advancing new methodologies. You will also facilitate agreements and collaborations between various teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Lead or co-lead clinical data management projects, ensuring all objectives are met.
  • Manage time effectively to meet project milestones and resource requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and working practices for data management.
  • Serve as Clinical Data Scientist and Trial Lead, overseeing DMM activities for assigned clinical trials.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in data visualization, reporting tools, and technology systems.
  • Collaborate with external service providers and business units to ensure the delivery of high-quality data management.
  • Perform central monitoring, identify signals for action, and work with study teams to resolve issues.
  • Execute communication plans to engage customer populations effectively.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a health information management role
  • In-depth knowledge of all phases of clinical trials and the ability to assess study requirements from protocol reviews
  • Familiarity with clinical research, FDA & ICH GCP guidelines, and related regulatory requirements
  • Strong project and risk management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in using Windows-based applications.

Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree
  • Experience with Contract Research Organization (CRO) and vendor oversight
  • Proficiency in commercial clinical data management systems and/or Electronic Data Capture (EDC) products

  • Annual Base Salary: $99,900 - $166,500
  • Bonus Target: 15.0% of base salary, eligibility for long-term incentive program
