Role Overview

The Line Manager, FSP 360 (Sponsor Dedicated) will lead multifunctional team members in France, ensuring exceptional customer delivery, business impact, and people leadership. This role acts as a Syneos Health ambassador and maintains strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.


Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Delivery and Success

  • Manage day-to-day service delivery for team members, ensuring adherence to KPIs

  • Build collaborative, trusting relationships with customer points of contact (PoCs)

  • Monitor and manage resource availability; resolve conflicts and support contingency plans

  • Solicit customer feedback for continuous improvement

  • Communicate and escalate customer issues effectively

  • Ensure compliance with SOPs/WIs, federal/local guidelines, and ICH GCPs

  • Conduct oversight visits for Clinical Research Associates if required

  • Maintain system updates and adherence to relevant procedures

2. Business Impact

  • Discuss and anticipate resource needs with customers, driving local growth

  • Make data-driven decisions to improve team and business unit performance

  • Share best practices and lessons learned across the business unit

  • Drive revenue through talent acquisition, placement, and retention

  • Assess and assign talent to projects based on competencies, margin, and customer needs

  • Participate in FSP360 account meetings, regional management team meetings, and Town Halls

3. People Leadership

  • Provide line management for FSP360 team members

  • Manage performance through goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, and performance improvement plans

  • Ensure team compliance with training requirements and maintain training records

  • Oversee administrative tasks such as HR processes, timecards, and expense reports

  • Assign project work, review workload, and optimize utilization

  • Support professional development through coaching and delegation

  • Promote engagement, retention, and accountability within the team

  • Advocate diversity, equity, and inclusion; model inclusive behavior and manage bias


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in team leadership and line management

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multifunctional teams, deliver on KPIs, and maintain compliance

  • Experience in resource planning and project management

  • Knowledge of clinical research and FSP operating models is advantageous

  • Commitment to continuous improvement, diversity, and employee development
