About the Role

Google for Health is a company-wide initiative focused on improving global health outcomes through technology, data, and advanced digital health solutions. As a Lead Clinical Specialist, you will support the implementation and adoption of Google’s health-focused tools across India’s healthcare ecosystem.

This role requires strong clinical expertise, strategic leadership, and the ability to work with government agencies, healthcare systems, academic institutions, and life sciences partners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Google, including engineering, product management, and policy teams, to advance digital health innovation in India.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).

  • 5 years of clinical experience (including residency/training) post medical degree.

  • 3 years postgraduate clinical experience in a hospital or primary care setting.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in implementation, program management, policy, or technology within the healthcare sector.

  • 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare.

  • Direct experience working within the Indian health system or public health ecosystem.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex clinical and technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation, adoption, and optimization of Google’s health-focused tools across India.

  • Serve as a clinical subject-matter expert for government partners, health systems, academic institutions, and life sciences organizations.

  • Guide internal teams by providing clinical insights, product feedback, and strategic recommendations.

  • Navigate Indian healthcare regulations, policies, and partner requirements to support deployment.

  • Build and manage senior-level relationships across India’s health ecosystem and within Google.

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, partnerships, and policy teams to solve challenges and ensure product value delivery.

  • Drive execution in interdisciplinary groups, balancing clinical, technical, and operational priorities.
