Core Purpose of the Role

  • Ensure tracking and accountability of shift activities within the assigned lab operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lab & Reaction Monitoring

    • Supervise overnight and hydrogenation lab reactions outside of general working hours.
    • Monitor and record lab cold room temperatures.
  2. Chemical Handling & Equipment Maintenance

    • Fill and prepare inorganic chemicals for lab activities.
    • Provide gas cylinders (oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide, ammonia) to lab scientists as required.
    • Ensure instruments and equipment are switched off when not in use.
  3. Safety & Emergency Response

    • Handle toxic material quenching and transport quenching materials to designated stations.
    • Attend to emergencies resulting from unexpected incidents.
  4. Logistics & Lab Support

    • Monitor fresh solvent filling activities.
    • Prepare scrubber solutions for column hoods, walk-in hoods, HTS labs, and ADC labs.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: B.Sc.
  • Experience: 0-3 years

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on expertise in:
    • Outbound & inbound logistics
    • SEZ documentation
    • US-related documentation
    • Purchasing and warehouse operations
  • Ability to understand department and project goals.
  • Willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
