Incentive Compensation Reporting Analyst at Syneos Health

The company is looking for a Incentive Compensation Reporting Analyst who is driven, resourceful, and exceptionally skilled to help support incentive compensation programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incentive Program Analysis & Administration:
    You will be responsible for analyzing, creating, maintaining, and administering compensation programs, focusing on tracking the achievement of employee objectives as defined in incentive compensation or bonus programs.

  • Data Reporting & Analysis:
    Responsible for creating reports and performing data analysis related to incentive plan performance, trends, and improvements. You'll ensure these reports meet specifications and provide valuable insights for management and team review.

  • Internal Consultation:
    Act as an internal consultant to identify and resolve any compensation-related issues or questions. You will meet regularly with IC Management and team members to establish, monitor, and review performance against objectives.

  • Project Coordination & Back-office Support:
    Provide back-office support for incentive compensation services, including gathering requirements, documenting specifications, developing and maintaining timelines, ensuring quality control, and coordinating administrative activities such as billing. You'll also ensure the smooth transition from implementation to project closure.

  • Quality Control:
    Perform quality control on all incentive compensation deliverables, ensuring they meet project specifications and are consistent with business objectives.

  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Develop and maintain clear project documentation, and produce professional summary materials, including spreadsheets, tables, and charts, that detail performance, projections, and efficiencies.

Essential Requirements:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, or a business-related field.

  • Experience:
    5+ years of progressively responsible experience in incentive compensation, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector.

  • Technical Skills:
    Expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Excel, including proficiency in VBA, complex formulas, pivot tables, and Power Pivot reports.

Desired Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree:
    Master’s degree in a directly related field is preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office:
    Familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools such as Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Professional Reporting Skills:
    Ability to develop and create well-organized, professionally formatted summary reports and presentations.

  • Cross-Departmental Understanding:
    Knowledge of how compensation issues may impact other departments across the organization.
