About the Job:
Join Sanofi’s I&I PSPV team as a Global Safety Officer (GSO) and become a key player in shaping the future of medicine. As the safety expert for Immunology and Inflammation (I&I) products under development—Sanofi’s top priority—you'll have numerous opportunities to expand your expertise and impact millions of lives globally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Internal and External Safety Expert for I&I products under development.

  • Represent Pharmacovigilance (PV) analyses and positions within project/product teams, safety governance activities, and benefit-risk committees.

  • Communicate with external partners, key opinion leaders, Health Authorities, and internal stakeholders during negotiations and project meetings.

  • Lead Signal Detection and Assessment activities.

  • Conduct Risk Assessment, Risk Management, and Benefit-Risk Assessment activities.

  • Contribute to regulatory Submission Activities to support product development.

About You:

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong clinical judgment with the ability to synthesize and critically analyze diverse data sources.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, especially in articulating complex clinical issues.

  • Ability to develop and document well-founded risk assessments.

  • Initiative and capacity to perform under pressure.

  • Leadership abilities in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluent English proficiency (spoken and written).

Formal Education and Experience Required:

  • Medical Degree (M.D.).

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible preferred.

  • For M.D.: Minimum 3 years of international Pharmacovigilance or equivalent relevant industry experience (e.g., clinical development) with relevant clinical exposure.

  • For other degrees: Minimum 5 years of equivalent relevant experience.

  • Exceptional candidates with proven excellence in similar roles may be considered even if they have less experience.
