Position Overview:
ProPharma is seeking a highly motivated Senior Site Budgets and Contracts Manager to support all site contract and budget-related processes. This individual contributor role, with leadership responsibilities, will focus on drafting, negotiating, and executing clinical site agreements. The ideal candidate must have strong oncology experience and report directly to the Director, Site Budgets and Contracts.
Responsibilities:
Draft, negotiate, and execute Master Clinical Trial Agreements (MCTAs), Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), Clinical Study Agreements (CSAs), Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), and other site agreements.
Lead clinical budget negotiations within Fair Market Value (FMV) guidelines using industry tools (Grant Plan preferred).
Ensure all contracts and budgets are finalized on schedule, within budget, and compliant with legal, regulatory, financial, and SOP requirements.
Enter contracts into the Contract Management System and ensure accurate tracking of agreements.
Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Finance, and Legal teams for contract and budget approvals.
Communicate and escalate contract-related issues that may impact project deliverables.
Participate in cross-functional project team meetings to achieve clinical study goals.
Maintain strong contract management, critical thinking, and negotiation competencies.
Provide timely updates and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Keep current with FDA regulations, ICH Guidelines, and Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) impacting clinical trials.
Operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent industry experience (5+ years).
Minimum of 5 years of clinical budget negotiation experience.
Strong background and experience in oncology clinical research.
Demonstrated expertise in negotiating clinical budgets and agreements.
Experience with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with various clinical contract types, especially site agreements and confidentiality agreements.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Grant Plan budget negotiation tool is highly desirable.
Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, academic, or Clinical Research Organization (CRO) settings.
Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to manage and resolve complex problems efficiently.
