Job Summary:

Cognizant, a global leader in professional services, is hiring a French Speaking Pharmacovigilance QC Associate for its expanding drug safety operations in Budapest. This hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity for life sciences professionals with pharmacovigilance or clinical experience to join a multicultural team, handle case processing activities, ensure data quality, and contribute to patient safety excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receipt, download, and acceptance of cases from various sources

  • Translation of European Non-English information into English (if applicable)

  • Saving and updating AE forms and source documents

  • Triage for validity and seriousness

  • Conduct duplicate searches and determine initial or follow-up cases

  • Data entry into Argus Affiliate/Core database

  • Perform self and peer Quality Checks on case data

  • Anonymization and redaction of source documents and AE forms

  • Case tracking and documentation in daily logs

  • Resolve queries and discrepancies from central processing teams

  • Generate follow-up letters for serious and pregnancy cases

  • Ensure data consistency with ICH-GCP, GVP, and SOP standards

  • Provide feedback and mentorship to team associates

  • Assist in audits, inspections, and process improvements


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate/Doctorate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medical Sciences

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Pharmacovigilance or relevant clinical field

  • Proficiency in English and French (B2 CEFR or equivalent)

  • Familiarity with Argus Safety Database preferred

  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes and GVP guidelines

  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

  • Ability to handle case triage, QC, data entry, and documentation

  • Understanding of ICH-GCP standards and pharmacovigilance compliance
