Role Overview

As an Executive – GDP Compliance, you will ensure that all Advanz Pharma distribution activities adhere to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines, Quality Management System (QMS) standards, and local regulatory requirements. You will monitor transportation routes, temperature control, and compliance audits, maintaining the highest quality standards for medicinal product distribution.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented compliance professional with strong knowledge of European GDP standards, experience in QMS, and the ability to collaborate effectively with international supply chain partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Document, verify, and monitor global transportation routes for Advanz Pharma products in coordination with Supply Chain and external contractors.

  • Assess temperature monitoring and control requirements for all transport routes.

  • Conduct periodic reviews of validated transport routes to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Build and maintain cooperative relationships with competent authorities and regulatory bodies.

  • Support maintenance of Wholesalers, Dealers Authorization, and Controlled Drugs licenses.

  • Coordinate Controlled Drugs inventory reporting to the Home Office.

  • Assist in product recall operations as per company procedures.

  • Ensure GDP-related customer complaints are resolved effectively.

  • Maintain accurate GDP records and ensure contracts with contract acceptors comply with distribution requirements.

  • Apply due diligence in reporting suspicious events or falsified products to senior management and authorities.

  • Assist during regulatory inspections and audits.

  • Continuously update knowledge of GDP regulations, QMS standards, and industry best practices.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the GDP compliance function.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Science Graduate (Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy) or Postgraduate in related field.

  • Experience: 2–5 years in GDP compliance, pharmaceutical distribution, or quality assurance.

  • Strong experience in European GDP compliance and bona fide checks for direct customers and suppliers.

  • Knowledge of QMS, change control, and deviation management.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Quality Modules or VIVA.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with global supply chain partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

  • Competency with Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

  • Proactive, results-driven, and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to adapt to different global cultures and time zones.
