Job Summary:

This role focuses on hospital-based pharmaceutical sales, requiring experienced engagement with a wide range of healthcare professionals across settings like ICUs, operating rooms, and hospital pharmacies. The role is highly strategic and data-driven, combining field visits and virtual engagement to drive product adoption.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans across a large geographic area

  • Engage with physicians, nurses, PAs, pharmacists, and decision-makers across subspecialties

  • Conduct in-person (70%+) and virtual engagements

  • Promote products in physician offices, hospital pharmacies, ICUs, and ORs

  • Leverage CRM and data analytics to optimize targeting and ROI

  • Achieve or exceed sales and profit goals

  • Clearly communicate complex clinical information in real time


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare industry sales

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals

  • Ability to manage independent territory and key accounts

  • Strong clinical communication skills and business acumen

  • Proficient with CRM systems (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce)

  • Excellent organization, time management, and virtual engagement skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Buy-and-Bill and injectable therapies

  • Oncology and hospital sales experience

  • Familiarity with P&T and formulary processes

  • Knowledge of local/regional healthcare systems
