Job Description:
THE POSITION:
The Expert Writer, Medical Content Development will support EVERSANA's Compliance team in developing scientifically rigorous content across therapeutic areas. This role reports to the Manager, Medical Content Development and collaborates with internal and external teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Manager, Medical Content Development in content-related client engagements.
Develop medical and scientific content, including:
Scientific Response Documents (SRD)
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Slide Sets, Abstracts, Posters
Education and Training materials
Lead the content development process, ensuring adherence to medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) guidelines.
Manage content in Veeva Vault MedComms/PromoMats platforms.
Conduct fact-checking and provide medical review support.
Develop and update SOPs, checklists, templates, and style guides.
Mentor and support junior writers and assist in hiring and onboarding.
Evaluate and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
Ensure Client Delight through high-quality content and project management.
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proactively identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Travel up to 10% post-COVID.
Average workload of 40+ hours/week.
Qualifications:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience developing medical content, especially for Medical Information materials.
Experience publishing abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
Familiarity with multiple therapeutic areas.
Proficiency with Veeva Vault MedComms/PromoMats.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
