Job Description:

THE POSITION:

This position supports a variety of strategy, research, analytics, and/or value communication projects. Responsibilities include managing project activities, collaborating with team members, and engaging with clients.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our employees achieve outstanding results by:

  • Liaising with project stakeholders as required.

  • Conducting structured/systematic searches of medical literature.

  • Critically reviewing, interpreting, and synthesizing medical literature.

  • Developing drafts of publications (e.g., manuscripts, abstracts, posters).

  • Preparing draft reports and slide decks.

  • Engaging with key opinion leaders (e.g., clinicians, health economists).

  • Reviewing, editing, and formatting draft documents.

  • Performing quality assurance on models, written materials, and more.

  • Developing product dossiers, value messages, and marketing materials.

  • Creating cost-effectiveness and budget impact models.

  • Running models, reviewing, and interpreting results.

  • Preparing slides for project-related meetings/calls.

  • Supporting project scope, timelines, and strategy.

  • Assisting in the development of SOPs and training materials.

  • Providing guidance and training to other staff.

  • Supporting proposal development and training initiatives.

  • Performing all other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Epidemiology, Pharmacology, Health Economics, Medical Science, or related field.

  • Direct experience in health research, health economics, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.

  • Effective communication skills (spoken and written) with team members and clients.

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MSc or PhD preferred.

  • Familiarity with techniques such as meta-analysis, network meta-analysis, predictive equations, survival analysis, and longitudinal data analysis.

  • Practical experience in applying statistics in health technology appraisals, health economics, or clinical data analysis.

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., VBA, Python, Java, JavaScript).

  • Experience with software such as EndNote or similar.


PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office environment with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods.

  • Occasionally required to lift/move up to 25 pounds.

  • Noise level is typically moderately quiet.


EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Travel: Some travel may be required to meet with clients or stakeholders.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
