EMEA Marketing Manager - Advanced Surgery

Location: Flexible (with a minimum of 3 days a week onsite)

What You’ll Be Doing

As the EMEA Marketing Manager for Advanced Surgery, you’ll play a pivotal role in promoting Baxter’s Advanced Surgery products across the EMEA region. You will work closely with the EMEA and local marketing teams to ensure full alignment with global strategies, implementing impactful marketing initiatives and developing engaging content. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategy Development & Execution: Establish and implement the EMEA marketing strategy for Baxter Advanced Surgery, ensuring alignment with global priorities.
  • Market Assessment: Conduct market evaluations, competitive analysis, and identify key segments and healthcare professionals to focus marketing efforts.
  • Promotional Materials & Campaigns: Coordinate and develop consistent, impactful promotional materials and content for commercial activities across various surgical specialties and regions.
  • Collaboration with External Partners: Work closely with agencies, writers, marketers, and other partners to strengthen Baxter’s market presence.
  • Innovative Growth Strategies: Partner with local marketing teams to brainstorm and implement innovative marketing initiatives, scaling successful strategies across countries.
  • Performance Reporting & Analytics: Analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, consumer behavior, and market trends to adjust strategies for optimal results.
  • Event Coordination: Create and maintain an accurate calendar for key events, such as roadshows, workshops, and wetlabs in META/CEEI regions, while also managing the marketing budget.
  • KOL Engagement: Drive KOL (Key Opinion Leader) collaboration across EMEA, organizing KOL-driven events and ensuring balanced engagement across regions, including WEU, CEEI, and META.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: Proven experience in a marketing role, ideally within the medical device or pharmaceutical industries. Previous sales experience is a plus.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Strong sense of creativity, imagination, and a passion for staying ahead of marketing trends, particularly in digital tools.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Market Insight: Expertise in market assessments, market trends, and consumer behavior analysis.
  • Planning & Analytical Skills: Strong planning abilities and capacity to manage medium-to-long-term projects with an analytical approach, including proficiency in marketing tools and website analytics.
  • Flexibility: A passion for a flexible work environment, with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite for in-person collaboration.
