About the Opportunity

The Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center is seeking a full-time obstetric anesthesiologist to join the Division of Women’s Anesthesia.

Position Requirements

  • Board Certification/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Fellowship training in obstetric anesthesiology (or significant experience and expertise in the field)
  • A commitment to teaching and research in clinical or basic sciences
  • Excellent communication skills are essential

The Division of Women’s Anesthesiology is responsible for providing anesthesia services to obstetric, gynecologic oncologic, ophthalmologic, and urologic surgeries, with the majority of cases involving high-risk obstetric patients.
