Job Description – AI Product Leader (Pharma Commercial Solutions)
About the Role
As an AI Product Leader, you will drive the strategy, development, and adoption of AI/GenAI-powered solutions that transform commercial operations in pharma. This includes advancing field force effectiveness, omnichannel engagement, patient services, content enablement, and intelligent automation. You will lead global teams, partner with data scientists, and collaborate across business units to deliver innovative, scalable, and compliant AI products that create measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
AI Product Leadership
Define and execute product strategy for AI/GenAI-driven solutions across commercial domains.
Deliver scalable, user-centric products that align with business goals.
Data Science Integration
Partner with data scientists to operationalize models (LLMs, NLP, ML) into products.
Ensure rigorous experimentation, validation, and optimization.
Team & Talent Development
Build, mentor, and lead a global team of product managers, technologists, and AI specialists.
Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous learning.
Innovation Pipeline Ownership
Identify and incubate high-value AI opportunities.
Lead rapid prototyping, pilots, and drive adoption at industrial scale.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, strategy, field teams, and compliance.
Deliver robust, secure, and compliant AI solutions.
Business Impact & Adoption
Define success metrics and measure ROI of AI products.
Drive adoption across markets and therapeutic areas.
Technology Thought Leadership
Serve as a champion for responsible AI innovation in pharma.
Stay ahead of trends in GenAI, open-source models, and emerging frameworks.
Essential Requirements
10+ years in product management, digital transformation, or AI innovation.
3–5 years of experience leading AI/ML or GenAI products at scale.
Strong applied knowledge of ML, LLMs, NLP, vector search, and prompt engineering.
Proven collaboration with data science and engineering for product deployment.
Experience in pharma commercial operations (CRM, omnichannel, field force tech, analytics).
Track record of building and leading high-performing global teams.
Excellent storytelling, stakeholder management, and executive communication.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical field (Master’s, MBA, or PhD preferred).
