Director, Clinical Site Management – Seoul, South Korea (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
IQVIA is hiring an experienced Director of Clinical Site Management to lead clinical operations in Seoul, South Korea. This strategic leadership role involves managing Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), regional operations staff, and ensuring high-quality delivery of clinical trials aligned with global GCP and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage CRAs, Clinical Managers, and Associate Directors across South Korea.

  • Design and execute strategic clinical operations plans aligned with regional/global objectives.

  • Ensure optimal resource allocation, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of clinical operations staff.

  • Monitor workload, quality metrics, and budget efficiency; implement corrective actions where needed.

  • Act as a client liaison for escalations and governance support.

  • Drive process improvement initiatives and support company-wide quality standards.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global project teams and external stakeholders.

  • Contribute to operational and financial planning for clinical trials in the region.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

  • 15+ years of experience in clinical operations, with minimum 8 years in leadership roles.

  • Deep knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and global regulatory requirements.

  • Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams in a clinical setting.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.

  • Ability to work across cultures and in fast-paced, global environments.
