The Opportunity

The Director of Clinical Development - Oncology will lead clinical programs across all phases of research, ensuring compliance with global standards and regulations. This individual will work collaboratively in a matrixed environment, developing strategies, overseeing study teams, and ensuring successful execution of clinical trials.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic & Operational Leadership:

    • Serve as a core member of the Global Project Team.
    • Lead cross-functional clinical development teams and oversee multiple Clinical Development Plans.
    • Partner with key departments (Regulatory, Biostatistics, Marketing, etc.) to execute Clinical Development Plans.
  • Clinical & Regulatory Oversight:

    • Ensure clinical trials comply with ICH, GCP, and relevant country laws.
    • Manage the preparation of key documents, including protocols, Investigator’s Brochures, and regulatory submissions.
    • Represent Teva at advisory boards, KOL meetings, and scientific/regulatory forums.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and foster relationships with opinion leaders in oncology.
    • Present at investigator meetings and collaborate with Clinical Supplies Group for procurement and drug supply planning.
  • Documentation & Communication:

    • Author and review abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
    • Analyze and interpret clinical data to prepare high-quality reports in collaboration with Medical Writing.

Your Qualifications

  • Education:

    • MD, DO, or equivalent; PhD, PharmD, or DVM with a proven track record may also be considered.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years in the pharmaceutical industry or related field, with oncology expertise strongly preferred.
    • Proven ability to manage clinical trials and lead project teams.
    • Managerial experience (2-4 years) is a plus.
  • Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~30%).

Work Environment

This hybrid role is based out of Parsippany, NJ or West Chester, PA, with on-site presence required several days a week.
