Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee manufacturing activities to meet productivity targets, ensuring the availability of required raw materials and packaging materials.
  • Plan and requisition necessary approved manpower while reducing operational losses.
  • Minimize breakdown losses through effective maintenance and recovery plans.
  • Optimize process steps and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations, including optimizing product scheduling with the SCM (Planning) team and avoiding SFG buildup with the Packing team.
  • Lead the manufacturing team by selecting qualified personnel, developing SMEs, and training team members.
  • Implement strategies to achieve above-target batch yield and minimize MUV (Material Unaccounted for).
  • Ensure total GMP compliance through regular SOP reviews, internal audits, and team training.
  • Co-own cost-saving targets and execute department investments within budget and timeline.
  • Ensure audit readiness in the manufacturing area by maintaining housekeeping standards, hygiene practices, and proper documentation.
  • Report manufacturing KPIs to management and contribute to financial objectives.
  • Participate in the technology transfer for new products and ensure successful commercialization.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • M. Pharma (Regular)
  • Minimum 15 years of experience (+/- 2 years) in pharmaceutical plants, with parenteral experience being desirable.
