Role Overview

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurate, timely, and high-quality data entry within the PreRISK clinical database. The role focuses on maintaining data integrity, supporting system improvements, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and clinical research requirements. This is a fully remote role based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data tracking, entry, verification, and quality-control checks in the PreRISK database following the Data Entry Instruction Manual and project guidelines.

  • Implement corrections and data updates as directed by the Data Curation Work Group Lead.

  • Identify and route system or data issues to the appropriate technical or internal teams.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all clinical, technical, and organizational information.

  • Support routine data surveillance and participate in system enhancement initiatives.

  • Contribute to process optimization efforts, metrics review, reporting, and documentation improvements.

  • Update and help maintain the Data Entry Instruction Manual.

  • Assist in developing end-user training materials, job aids, and process documentation.

  • Provide support to wider data systems and internal project teams as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.

  • 0–2 years of experience in data entry, administrative coordination, or clinical data support.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining consistency.

  • Basic understanding of databases, digital systems, or clinical trial data workflows is desirable.

  • Ability to handle confidential information and follow established procedures.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in clinical research or healthcare data entry.

  • Familiarity with data quality control processes.

  • Ability to identify system inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements.

  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Compensation

Salary Range: USD 35,600 – 60,400 annually
(Salary will vary based on skills, experience, and job-related competencies.)
