Overview

Illingworth Research Group, a global leader in patient-focused clinical services, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist (Remote). The organization operates across more than 45 countries, delivering mobile research nursing, patient concierge, medical photography, and advanced clinical research support. This role contributes directly to improving patient experiences in clinical trials by ensuring accurate and high-quality data management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely data tracking, entry, verification, and quality control checks for the PreRISK database, following established Data Entry Instruction Manual and operational guidelines.

  • Implement required corrections in the database as requested by the Data Curation Work Group Lead.

  • Identify and escalate technical system issues or data discrepancies to appropriate internal teams.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all information handled.

  • Support routine data surveillance activities and contribute to system optimization for the PreRISK library.

  • Participate in developing process improvements, design recommendations, metrics analysis, and reporting strategies to enhance PreRISK system efficiency.

  • Provide updates and inputs for the Data Entry Instruction Manual.

  • Assist with team initiatives, additional data system requirements, and assigned projects.

  • Support creation and maintenance of end-user training resources and job aids when required.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in data entry, clinical data management, administrative support, or a related field.

  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to follow structured processes.

  • Experience working in clinical research, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or CRO environments is an advantage.

  • Proficiency with database systems, data verification procedures, and documentation standards.

  • Ability to identify data issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Salary Range

$35,600 – $60,400 annually
The final offer depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and proficiency relevant to the role.
