Role Overview

The Data Entry Specialist plays a key role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and quality of clinical data within the PreRISK database. This role supports ongoing data management workflows and contributes to continuous system improvement initiatives. The position is fully remote within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely data tracking, entry, verification, and quality checks in the PreRISK database in adherence to the Data Entry Instruction Manual and internal guidance.

  • Implement data corrections as directed by the Data Curation Work Group Lead.

  • Identify technical system issues or data-related discrepancies and route them to appropriate internal teams.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient, clinical, and operational information.

  • Support routine data surveillance activities and contribute to PreRISK system maintenance.

  • Participate in developing innovative improvements for the PreRISK system, including design enhancements, metrics review, workflow refinement, and reporting support.

  • Provide ongoing updates to the Data Entry Instruction Manual.

  • Assist with team-wide data system needs, project initiatives, and other assigned tasks.

  • Support development of end-user training materials and job aids as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.

  • 0–2 years of experience in data entry or administrative data management roles.

  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to follow structured processes and maintain consistency in repetitive tasks.

  • Basic understanding of digital databases or clinical data workflows is desirable.

  • Ability to handle confidential information securely.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience within clinical research, healthcare, or related regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and data verification methods.

  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.

  • Problem-solving ability and willingness to contribute to process improvements.

Compensation

Salary Range: USD 35,600 – 60,400 annually
(Actual salary depends on qualifications, experience, and job-specific competencies.)
