Position Overview

Illingworth Research Group, a global provider of patient-focused clinical services, is seeking a Data Entry Specialist (Remote). The organization supports pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotechnology, and medical device industries with services including mobile research nursing, patient concierge support, medical photography, and comprehensive clinical research operations. With activities in over 45 countries, Illingworth brings clinical research directly to patients’ homes to enhance comfort, compliance, and overall trial experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform timely and accurate data tracking, entry, verification, and quality control checks within the PreRISK database, following the Data Entry Instruction Manual and internal guidelines.

  • Implement corrections requested by the Data Curation Work Group Lead.

  • Identify data issues or technical system challenges and route them to appropriate internal teams.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient and study data.

  • Support routine data surveillance, system improvements, and ongoing PreRISK library maintenance.

  • Contribute to strategies and process efficiencies for PreRISK system enhancements, including design updates, metrics review, and reporting improvements.

  • Provide updates and recommendations for maintaining the Data Entry Instruction Manual.

  • Assist with team-wide data system needs, new initiatives, and cross-functional projects.

  • Support preparation and maintenance of training materials and job aids for end users.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience considered.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in data entry, administrative coordination, or clinical data management.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow structured processes.

  • Prior experience in clinical research, healthcare, pharma, or a CRO setting is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with database systems, QC checks, and documentation standards.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Salary Range

$35,600 – $60,400 annually
Final compensation will reflect the candidate’s experience, skill level, and role-specific competencies.
