Your Role

As the Head of R&D for Chemical Synthesis Solutions, you will:

Lead a team of chemists and researchers to drive innovation in chemical synthesis.

Develop and implement strategic R&D initiatives aligned with business goals.

Manage budgets (OPEX & CAPEX) and resources effectively.

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Deliver cutting-edge chemical synthesis solutions to support drug discovery and development.

Ensure compliance with project management, regulatory standards, and IP protection.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications

PhD (or equivalent advanced degree) in Chemistry (Organic, Medicinal, or Synthetic) or related field.

Strong expertise in chemical synthesis and integration of automation/AI in synthesis.

Proven experience in leading R&D teams and driving product development.

Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.

Excellent project management and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience in intellectual property (IP) identification and protection.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in drug design, lead optimization, and structure-activity relationships.

Knowledge of emerging trends and sustainability practices in chemistry.

Strong collaboration track record across cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with budget management (OPEX & CAPEX).

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $159,700 – $271,600 (based on experience, education, skills, and location).

Eligible for sales/performance-based bonuses.
