Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and mitigate legal risks, proposing alternative solutions for company transactions
Draft, review, and advise on contracts with clients and vendors
Develop standard contract templates, policies, and procedures
Provide legal training and updates to internal teams
Support corporate due diligence and high-profile client accounts
Manage external legal counsel and consultants within budget
Participate in complex transactions alongside subject matter experts
Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and corporate policies
Lead contract workflows, manage review processes, and improve turnaround times
Identify business training needs and deliver relevant legal training
Represent the company in legal discussions with external stakeholders
Maintain strong working relationships across business units and geographies
May require travel up to 25%
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (Postgraduate or Master’s degree preferred)
Prior experience in a private practice or in-house legal department, preferably in life sciences
Proven ability to offer strategic legal counsel and earn client trust
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
Familiarity with clinical research organizations or the pharmaceutical sector is a strong plus
Ability to handle complex legal issues independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
Strong ethical standards, business judgment, and alignment with corporate objectives
