Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and mitigate legal risks, proposing alternative solutions for company transactions

  • Draft, review, and advise on contracts with clients and vendors

  • Develop standard contract templates, policies, and procedures

  • Provide legal training and updates to internal teams

  • Support corporate due diligence and high-profile client accounts

  • Manage external legal counsel and consultants within budget

  • Participate in complex transactions alongside subject matter experts

  • Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and corporate policies

  • Lead contract workflows, manage review processes, and improve turnaround times

  • Identify business training needs and deliver relevant legal training

  • Represent the company in legal discussions with external stakeholders

  • Maintain strong working relationships across business units and geographies

  • May require travel up to 25%

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (Postgraduate or Master’s degree preferred)

  • Prior experience in a private practice or in-house legal department, preferably in life sciences

  • Proven ability to offer strategic legal counsel and earn client trust

  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills

  • Familiarity with clinical research organizations or the pharmaceutical sector is a strong plus

  • Ability to handle complex legal issues independently with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Strong ethical standards, business judgment, and alignment with corporate objectives
