🔎 Job Overview

The Corporate Finance Analyst will support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) by working closely with the project finance team to gather project-level financial details, enhance reporting tools, and deliver critical financial insights. The role will involve month-end deliveries, Power BI report creation and enhancements, and business partnership activities.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Month-End Deliveries & Core FP&A Duties

  • Support the Director of FP&A with monthly financial deck creation, highlighting key business performance indicators
  • Lead variance reporting for all profit/cost centers, analyzing cost patterns and developing action plans to meet budgets/forecasts
  • Participate in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
  • Perform financial health checks under the guidance of Director, FP&A

Power BI Reporting & Enhancements

  • Create and maintain Power BI (PBI) reports
  • Perform data validation to ensure report accuracy
  • Collaborate with the BI team to optimize reporting structures and workflows

Business Partnership

  • Facilitate communication between operations, project management, and clinical operations teams to ensure accurate financial data
  • Advise project finance analysts (PFA) on financial health and recommend actions for improved project performance
  • Optimize data presentation for internal stakeholders

Ad-hoc & Special Projects

  • Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis to assess the business's current state and create forward-looking statements
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Director of FP&A

📌 Requirements

🎓 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a relevant discipline
  • CPA designation is a plus but not required

🛠 Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in project accounting (preferred but not required)

📜 Skills & Competencies:

  • Fluency in English (spoken & written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI (prior experience is a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal and professional judgment skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment
