Position Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Copy Editor with 2–5 years of experience to proofread, edit, and validate promotional and scientific content for pharmaceutical and healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to brand guidelines, digital standards, and regulatory compliance across print and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Review & Proofreading:

  • Screen metadata and route materials to appropriate reviewers.

  • Proofread promotional content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, tense consistency, and brand style adherence.

  • Identify inconsistencies, awkward phrasing, or formatting issues across all print and digital materials.

  • Conduct word-to-word comparisons with previous versions to detect discrepancies.

  • Verify implementation of changes across multiple review stages, including post-MLR, proofs (print), final samples, and functional reviews.

Reference & Style Compliance:

  • Review reference lists for compliance with the AMA Manual of Style.

  • Proofread ISI (Important Safety Information) against approved versions.

  • Ensure all hyperlinks are functional and route correctly to expected screens/pages.

  • Verify compliance with digital standards, including ISI visibility, legal disclaimers, and interactive elements (buttons, swipe/tap functionality).

Quality Assurance & Functional Checks:

  • Ensure that all digital interactivity and functionalities perform correctly on multiple devices.

  • Identify and escalate issues or inconsistencies to the relevant stakeholders.

  • Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy throughout the content lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare content editing and proofreading.

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with typesetting guidelines and AMA style guide.

  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel.

  • Exposure to Veeva PromoMats and Medical Legal Regulatory (MLR) review processes.
