Position Overview
Enzene is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Controller to oversee all financial operations for our manufacturing site. This role involves managing cost accounting, inventory management, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Finance Controller will be essential in driving cost efficiency, analyzing production financials, and supporting strategic decision-making at the site level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Systems, Processes, and Controls: Establish and manage systems and processes for finance, including Capex and asset management, banking, payments, accounting, and financial closures. Oversee financial controls, auditing, and coordination with statutory and internal auditors.
  • Financial Reporting and Closures: Ensure timely financial closures and reporting to the India Finance team. Assist with quarterly and yearly financial closures, including analytics and preparation of financial dashboards.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cashflow Management: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, manage cash flow forecasts, and monitor actuals. Collaborate with business teams to develop revenue forecasts, perform monthly variance analysis, and track financial performance.
  • Financial Analysis and MIS Reporting: Provide high-level financial analysis and reconciliation across various revenue streams and operational expenses. Prepare operational MIS reports to monitor revenues, expenses, and capital expenditures.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance (required); Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and MBA in Finance (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry. Experience in setting up financial systems, managing large Capex projects, and compliance with financial regulations is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong cross-functional communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and adaptable leadership. Ability to manage stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
