Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

  1. Draft, negotiate, review, and process site agreements and templates for clinical study teams with minimal guidance.
  2. Ensure contracts align with Fortrea’s policies and accurately reflect the organization’s obligations and rights.
  3. Negotiate contractual terms with other parties in a professional manner while protecting Fortrea’s interests.
  4. Identify and escalate issues that require review by line management.
  5. Manage assigned studies, ensuring compliance with internal processes, procedures, or sponsor-specific requirements.

System Updates and Documentation

  1. Maintain and update the contract tracking system to report contract statuses, values, and signing progress.
  2. Ensure timely scanning, filing, and electronic storage of executed contracts for access by other team members.
  3. Provide management with regular updates on open contracts and unresolved issues.

Team Collaboration and Communication

  1. Coordinate and communicate contract details and timelines with clinical study teams.
  2. Facilitate internal reviews and sign-offs on contracts before forwarding to external parties.
  3. Support site agreement staff and assist with contractual inquiries from internal teams.

Administrative and Compliance Responsibilities

  1. Adhere to SOPs, ICH-GCP principles, and quality standard procedures.
  2. Input activities into timesheets, complete required training, and document them in training systems.
  3. Prepare and submit company expense reports in a timely manner.
  4. Assist in obtaining approvals for authorization forms and other administrative functions as required.

Problem Solving and Process Improvement

  1. Identify obstacles in the contracting process and seek assistance from relevant teams or management to resolve delays.
  2. Contribute to the development and improvement of departmental processes and procedures.
  3. Work closely with project management, business development, and budget teams to address challenges and meet deadlines.

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Support departmental goals, objectives, and initiatives positively and flexibly.
  2. Perform other duties as required by the department.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

Experience and Skills

  • Strong understanding of ICH-GCP principles and contract negotiation.
  • Proficient in contract tracking systems and administrative functions.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
