Consulting Manager – Life Sciences (Remote, USA)

Job Summary:
Cognizant is seeking an experienced Consulting Manager – Life Sciences to lead transformation initiatives within its Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) practice. As a trusted advisor to top pharma clients, you'll drive innovation in Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Quality. This remote position is ideal for professionals with 10+ years of experience in the life sciences industry and a proven track record in compliance-driven digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the domain expert on life sciences regulations (GxP, SOX, 21 CFR Part 11) and best practices
Lead process discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and current-state assessments
Conduct gap analysis and develop structured improvement strategies
Align business goals with automation technologies such as RPA, Veeva, SAP, Oracle
Collaborate with solution architects and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and execution
Present findings and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge frameworks
Stay up to date with emerging AI/ML and analytics trends in life sciences
Support process standardization across clinical, regulatory, PV, and commercial operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in life sciences, with deep exposure to Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, PV, Quality, or Commercial Ops
Strong consulting background or leadership in cross-functional transformation initiatives
Experience with systems like Veeva Vault, Trackwise, SAP, Oracle, UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform
Skilled in process mapping, root-cause analysis, and performance evaluation
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups
Familiarity with AI, ML, or advanced analytics in regulated environments
Preferred: Certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or related methodologies
