Job Overview

The Associate Project Manager, Connected Devices is responsible for managing small to medium-sized connected device projects, either stand-alone or full-service, across all phases of clinical trials. Working under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager, this role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with company policies and sponsor expectations.


Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Plan, initiate, execute, control, and deliver projects in line with agreed Scope of Work (SOW).

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of connected device projects.

  • Track project progress, evaluate risks, and seek guidance for corrective actions as needed.

  • Conduct End-of-Project reviews to ensure all tasks are completed.

Team & Communication

  • Document and circulate project-specific guidelines to ensure team alignment.

  • Train team members on project-specific requirements.

  • Prepare and present project updates at internal and external meetings.

  • Provide feedback to line managers on team members’ project performance.

Financial Oversight

  • With guidance, manage project budgets and financials to meet goals.

  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition, forecasting, and execution of change orders.

  • Escalate issues affecting quality, budget, or timelines to Connected Devices leadership.


Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare-related discipline (preferred).

    • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

  • Experience:

    • ~3 years of industry experience preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership, prioritization, scheduling, and organizational skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Good problem-solving and customer service skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

    • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
