The Compensation and HRIS Specialist will play a crucial role in the administration of compensation strategies and the management of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This hybrid role combines responsibility for compensation management, including conducting market studies and salary adjustments, with the daily operation of the HRIS to ensure efficiency and data accuracy.

1. Compensation

  • Assist in implementing compensation policies and strategies in line with company objectives
  • Conduct market studies to compare internal and external salary data
  • Contribute to salary grid development and management
  • Prepare and analyze salary data reports to support decision-making
  • Collaborate in performance evaluations and salary adjustment processes
  • Maintain up-to-date pay equity files, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices

2. HRIS Administration

  • Manage and maintain the HRIS on a daily basis, ensuring accurate data
  • Configure new modules and update functionalities as needed
  • Train internal users on HRIS functionalities and provide support
  • Generate HR reports and dashboards to assist management teams
  • Resolve technical or functional issues with the HRIS system

3. General Support

  • Collaborate with HR team on various projects (e.g., benefits management, HR audits)
  • Contribute to process improvements through optimized HRIS utilization
  • Ensure compliance with HR practices and regulations

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree, with 1-2 years of relevant experience

  • Solid communication skills in both French and English
  • Ability to manage confidential data responsibly
