Clinical Trial Enrollment Coordinator – Salt Lake City, UT (On-site)

Job Summary:

ICON plc, a global leader in clinical research, is hiring a Clinical Trial Enrollment Coordinator in Salt Lake City, UT. In this vital role, you’ll support patient recruitment and enrollment for clinical drug trials. You’ll collaborate with recruitment teams, review study protocols, monitor screening outcomes, and ensure timely patient enrollment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment feasibility assessments during proposal stages

  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to identify qualified study participants

  • Assist in preparing recruitment and screening documents for sponsor approval

  • Maintain accurate enrollment logs and monitor screening effectiveness

  • Provide regular updates to project teams on enrollment status

  • Help analyze recruitment effectiveness and propose improvements

  • Review inclusion/exclusion criteria to support participant screening

  • Monitor potential risks and assist in contingency planning

  • Interact with study participants during recruitment and screening


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (required)

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in clinical trial support or coordination

  • Strong understanding of clinical trials, medical terminology, and regulatory standards

  • Ability to read and interpret study protocols accurately

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience handling confidential medical information

  • Familiarity with SOPs and work instructions in clinical settings
