Job Summary:

As a Pharmacovigilance Services Specialist, you will be part of Accenture’s Life Sciences R&D vertical, supporting clinical, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory services. You will help biopharma clients improve outcomes by connecting scientific expertise with insights into the patient experience.

You will manage case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, submissions, and follow-ups for ICSRs in the safety database, following client guidelines and global regulatory requirements.

This role may require rotational shifts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and solve moderately complex problems.

  • Develop new solutions or adapt existing methods and procedures.

  • Understand strategic direction from senior management and align with team goals.

  • Interact with direct supervisors, peers, and management at Accenture or client sites.

  • Manage small teams and work efforts (for individual contributor roles).

  • Ensure proper management of affiliate mailboxes, reconciliation of reports, and follow-ups for both serious and non-serious cases.


Qualifications:

  • MBBS

  • 7–11 years of relevant experience in Pharmacovigilance & Drug Safety Surveillance


Skills Required:

  • Pharmacovigilance Services

  • Drug Safety Surveillance

  • Case processing and reporting (ICSRs)

  • Knowledge of global regulatory requirements
