We are currently seeking a Clinical Trial Educator (CTE) with experience in Psychiatry and Behavioral Health to join our national field team. The CTE plays a crucial role in supporting clinical trial sites through education, collaboration, and community engagement — ultimately driving patient recruitment and trial success.

This is a full-time, field-based role requiring up to 75% travel nationwide.


Position Summary

The Clinical Trial Educator serves as a key liaison between clinical research sites, healthcare professionals, and IQVIA’s medical teams.
You will:

  • Provide education and in-service presentations to clinical trial coordinators and healthcare providers on inclusion/exclusion criteria.

  • Develop tailored recruitment and engagement plans to optimize patient enrollment.

  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and other field-based medical teams for seamless trial execution.

  • Build referral networks with physicians and support groups in relevant therapeutic areas to increase awareness and participation in clinical research.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-service training to site staff on protocol-specific eligibility criteria.

  • Partner with site personnel to identify and overcome recruitment barriers.

  • Collaborate with referring physicians to establish patient referral networks.

  • Conduct community outreach to raise awareness of ongoing trials.

  • Coordinate cross-functional communication among clinical operations, CRAs, and medical teams.

  • Execute recruitment activities including chart reviews, data abstraction, and referral outreach.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of all field activities.

  • Represent IQVIA and client organizations professionally and compliantly at all times.


Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum.

  • Clinical research experience essential.

  • Active RN license strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting patient recruitment and site education.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and administrative skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.

  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays.

Preferred

  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) credential.

  • 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Trial Educator and/or healthcare educator.

  • Experience in Psych/Behavioral Health or similar therapeutic area.

  • Background in community engagement and diversity in clinical trials.

  • Business acumen and customer service experience.

  • Proficiency in technology and data management tools.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $62,300 – $195,100 (annualized)

  • Actual pay will vary based on education, experience, and location.
