Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Trial Educator (CTE) to provide education and support to clinical trial sites, healthcare providers, and referring physicians. The CTE will play a vital role in improving patient recruitment and optimizing trial execution through tailored education and collaboration across medical teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Educate clinical trial coordinators and healthcare providers on study inclusion/exclusion criteria.

  • Deliver in-service presentations to enhance patient enrollment in clinical trials.

  • Partner with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and other field-based medical professionals to ensure efficient trial execution.

  • Develop and implement customized recruitment plans to support study goals.

  • Build and maintain referral networks with physicians and support groups within the therapeutic area.

  • Engage in community outreach to foster awareness and participation in clinical research.

  • Perform referral outreach, chart reviews, and data abstraction as part of recruitment efforts.

  • Work independently with strong coordination across multiple teams.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum).

  • Clinical research experience.

  • Active license or credential in one of the following professions:

    • MD – Medical Doctor

    • DO – Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

    • RN – Registered Nurse

    • NP – Nurse Practitioner

    • PA – Physician Assistant

    • Pharmacist (RPh or PharmD)

    • Occupational Therapist

    • Physical Therapist

    • Respiratory Therapist

Preferred:

  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) credential.

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Clinical Trial Educator or in healthcare education.

  • Experience in community engagement and diversity in clinical trials.

  • Strong business acumen and customer service orientation.

  • Excellent presentation, administrative, and technical skills.

  • Proven ability to conduct data abstraction and referral outreach.

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple functions.

  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight trips.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay Range: $62,300 – $195,100 (annualized)

  • Actual pay may vary depending on qualifications, experience, education, and location.

  • May include incentive plans, bonuses, and comprehensive health and welfare benefits.
