Job Title: Operations Portfolio Support Specialist


Location:

  • Lawrenceville, NJ (Hybrid, on-site weekly)

Duration:

  • 6+ months with potential to extend/convert

Pay Rate:

  • $68.50 to $88.50 per hour (based on experience)

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with operational clinical trial data and clinical trial performance metrics
  • Ability to summarize complex data
  • Skill in identifying trends, risks, and issues in data
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with functional Senior Leadership
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills

Position Summary:

The role supports the Executive Director, Global Development Operations (GDO), and team in managing operations portfolio governance and other business operations directives and tasks.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Global Development Operations leadership to prepare and facilitate Portfolio Review Meetings and Operational Deep Dive Sessions
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues to ensure operational portfolio delivery
  • Assess trends to recommend improvements for future clinical trial delivery
  • Liaise with R&D enterprise governance teams
  • Lead or support maintenance of the Global Development Operations Book of Work
  • Lead or support standard and ad hoc Global Development Operations strategic reporting requests
  • Partner with the R&D BIA team to evolve Global Development Operations analytical needs
  • Assist senior business operations team members in driving successful delivery of key initiatives
  • Support other key business operations tasks, analyses, and deliverables as required

Degree Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

Key Competency Requirements:

  • Experience with operational clinical trial data
  • Robust understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry, clinical trial conduct, regulatory and safety processes, and business environment
  • Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and regulations
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrixed environment
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Innovative thinking and ability to bring new ideas for improvement
