Position Overview

The Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) will provide essential administrative, documentation, and coordination support to clinical research teams. This role plays a critical part in maintaining study documentation, supporting regulatory submissions, and coordinating site- and vendor-related activities to ensure clinical trials are conducted in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory requirements.

This position is ideal for early-career professionals seeking hands-on exposure to clinical trial operations within a structured pharmaceutical research environment.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Documentation & Administrative Support

  • Assist in maintaining essential clinical trial documents, including protocols, informed consent forms, case report forms, and study reports

  • Organize and manage both electronic and paper-based Trial Master File (TMF) documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy

  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and coordinating internal activities

Regulatory & Compliance Support

  • Support preparation and submission of regulatory documents to Ethics Committees and Regulatory Authorities

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines, internal SOPs, and local regulatory requirements

Site & Vendor Coordination

  • Support tracking of site invoices and payment processes

  • Assist in vendor code generation and maintain vendor tracking records

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational workflows


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a health or life sciences discipline such as Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, or related field
    or

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research


Experience Requirements

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in clinical research, clinical trial coordination, or clinical operations

  • Internship or trainee experience in clinical research will be considered an advantage


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of clinical trial processes and documentation

  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic documentation systems
