Position Overview
The Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) will provide essential administrative, documentation, and coordination support to clinical research teams. This role plays a critical part in maintaining study documentation, supporting regulatory submissions, and coordinating site- and vendor-related activities to ensure clinical trials are conducted in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory requirements.
This position is ideal for early-career professionals seeking hands-on exposure to clinical trial operations within a structured pharmaceutical research environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Documentation & Administrative Support
Assist in maintaining essential clinical trial documents, including protocols, informed consent forms, case report forms, and study reports
Organize and manage both electronic and paper-based Trial Master File (TMF) documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and coordinating internal activities
Regulatory & Compliance Support
Support preparation and submission of regulatory documents to Ethics Committees and Regulatory Authorities
Assist in ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines, internal SOPs, and local regulatory requirements
Site & Vendor Coordination
Support tracking of site invoices and payment processes
Assist in vendor code generation and maintain vendor tracking records
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operational workflows
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a health or life sciences discipline such as Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, or related field
or
Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research
Experience Requirements
0–2 years of relevant experience in clinical research, clinical trial coordination, or clinical operations
Internship or trainee experience in clinical research will be considered an advantage
Key Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of clinical trial processes and documentation
Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic documentation systems
