🧬 Role Overview

As a Senior Manager in Clinical Science within Pfizer’s Vaccines division, you will provide clinical and scientific oversight for multiple global Phase 1–4 clinical trials. Your role will support the development strategy for various vaccine programs, ensuring the design, execution, and quality of clinical trials align with Pfizer's mission to deliver life-changing medicines.


🔍 Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Trial Oversight: Collaborate with the Lead Clinician to design and oversee clinical trials, ensuring scientific integrity and data quality.

  • Documentation: Author and review clinical protocols, informed consent documents, study reports, and regulatory submissions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with clinical operations, biostatistics, medical affairs, and other functional teams to implement and execute clinical trials.

  • Data Analysis: Lead clinical input for study setup, including data tools, analysis, and database configuration. Contribute to statistical analysis plans and clinical data outputs.

  • Safety Monitoring: Analyze emerging safety data in partnership with safety colleagues, keeping teams informed of any changes in the safety profile.

  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure adherence to SOPs and regulations, actively participating in initiatives aimed at optimizing clinical development procedures.


🎓 Required Qualifications

  • Education: BA/BS/BSN in a health or related science discipline.

  • Experience: 7+ years in clinical development, including 2 years in a clinical scientist role with a proven track record in vaccine development.

  • Skills:

    • Strong background in clinical research and Good Clinical Practices (GCP).

    • Experience in vaccine development.

    • Proficiency in authoring clinical protocols and study documents.

    • Knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and data interpretation.

    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


🌟 Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degrees: PhD/PharmD or MA/MBA/MS.

  • Additional Experience:

    • 2+ years in a vaccines clinical scientist role.

    • 5+ years in clinical development, including 2 years in a clinical scientist role with a proven track record in vaccine development.


💰 Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $135,100 – $225,100 per year.

  • Bonus: Eligible for Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a target bonus of 17.5% of base salary.

  • Long-Term Incentive: Eligibility to participate in Pfizer’s share-based long-term incentive program.
