The Opportunity: Clinical Science Liaison (CSL)

Position Overview

The Clinical Science Liaison (CSL) is part of the Field Medical Affairs team, acting as a scientific resource to build and maintain relationships with key healthcare providers (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). This role is integral in advancing Teva's scientific mission in alignment with its Medical Strategy.

The CSL will engage in educational initiatives, scientific exchange, and collaborative efforts to support healthcare decision-making and advocacy groups in academic and long-term care settings.


Key Responsibilities

Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Build collaborative relationships with national, regional, and local advanced practice providers across healthcare settings.

  • Partner with advanced professional organizations (e.g., APNA, AANN, GAPNA, AAPA) to address educational needs and knowledge gaps.

  • Support national Patient Advocacy Organizations (PAGs) in collaboration with the Medical Patient Advocacy team.

Education and Insights

  • Identify and address knowledge gaps by planning and delivering educational presentations and providing resources.

  • Stay current on the latest therapeutic area literature and research to facilitate meaningful scientific interactions.

Representation and Feedback

  • Represent Teva at select medical and nursing congresses, gathering and sharing relevant insights.

  • Provide feedback on resources to support field activities and CSL engagements.

Internal and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Provide scientific support to internal teams and cross-functional colleagues.

  • Deliver accurate and timely administrative reports, projects, and assignments.


Territory and Travel

  • Territory: AZ, NM, UT, WY, CO.

  • Preferred candidate location: Arizona (not required).

  • Travel Requirements: Overnight travel up to 60-70%, including evenings and weekends.


Your Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Advanced Nursing Degree (MSN, DNP, PhD) or Physician Assistant (PA).

  • Experience:

    • Clinical experience in Psychiatry and/or Movement Disorders preferred.

    • Maintenance of advanced practice licensure and certification per state requirements is encouraged.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

    • Effective organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical industry role.

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with high accuracy and efficiency.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
