Job Summary:
Fortrea, a global leader in Contract Research Organization (CRO) services, is hiring a Clinical Research Technician to join its Early Phase Clinical Research Unit in Madison, WI. This full-time, on-site role offers candidates a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of clinical trials, handling Phase 1 studies that help shape the future of medicine. The role involves direct interaction with healthy volunteers, exposure to diverse therapeutic indications, and cutting-edge clinical protocols, ensuring professional growth in clinical research and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Directly interact with healthy volunteer participants in clinical trials.
Read and interpret clinical research protocols accurately.
Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
Perform venipuncture and obtain biological samples per study protocols.
Prepare and accurately record ECGs/Holters.
Monitor participant meals for dietary compliance.
Assist with medical room and equipment preparation.
Support participant screening procedures as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work and study environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the study team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA certification preferred.
0–1 year of related healthcare or clinical experience.
Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, protocol-driven environment.
Strong adaptability to shifting priorities and tasks.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working with electronic data collection systems and technology-based tools.
