Role Overview:

We are looking for a Clinical Research Scientist with a strong leadership profile to spearhead the company's clinical research and marketing division. The ideal candidate will be an experienced clinical specialist and medical expert with an entrepreneurial mindset. This role will involve leading clinical trials, building key partnerships, and driving the adoption of NIRAMAI’s innovative diagnostic solutions worldwide.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the strategy and planning of clinical functions at NIRAMAI.
  • Initiate and coordinate international and national clinical trials.
  • Develop a global network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to influence the adoption of NIRAMAI’s diagnostic solutions.
  • Design and oversee compliance and clinical activities in accordance with healthcare regulations across various countries.
  • Collaborate with business, technology, research, and product teams to design regulatory, clinical, and medical marketing strategies for the company's healthcare products.
  • Conduct Continuing Medical Education (CME) seminars to support brand marketing and business development.
  • Identify and activate external partners, including key hospitals, regulatory bodies, and audit agencies, to ensure timely regulatory clearances and clinical efficacy proof.
  • Represent NIRAMAI at trade association meetings, public hearings, scientific meetings, and in interactions with the US FDA.
  • Lead and build a strong clinical operations and regulatory compliance team focused on delivering results within budget.
  • Develop a clinical training function to ensure protocol conformance, doctor certifications, and regulatory training for employees.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in science (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate) – medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, biology, biostatistics, pharmacology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 7–15 years in a pharma or medical device company.
  • Skills:
    • Leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Strong networking and stakeholder liaison abilities, particularly with regulatory authorities.
    • Experience in clinical trials, regulatory compliance, and product evangelism for widespread adoption.
