Clinical Project Manager – Orthopedic & Spine Devices (Remote, USA)
Job Summary:
IQVIA is hiring a Clinical Project Manager (Medical Devices) to lead orthopedic and spine device trials across the U.S. This fully remote role focuses on end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, and patient-focused clinical trial execution. Ideal for professionals with 5+ years in clinical research and at least 1 year in project management within medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead clinical studies and manage cross-functional teams for timely and high-quality trial delivery
Develop study management plans and collaborate with business development for bid defenses
Ensure study delivery is within budget, scope, and timelines
Identify and mitigate risks, implement corrective action plans
Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Monitor project metrics and ensure financial health of clinical trials
Manage vendor relationships and compliance to GCP/ICH and regulatory standards
Mentor junior team members and support staff development
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field (required)
Minimum 5 years of clinical research experience with at least 1 year in project management
Prior experience in medical device trials (orthopedic/spine preferred)
Deep understanding of ICH-GCP and clinical research regulations
Strong leadership, organization, and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
