Clinical Project Manager – Orthopedic & Spine Devices (Remote, USA)

Job Summary:
IQVIA is hiring a Clinical Project Manager (Medical Devices) to lead orthopedic and spine device trials across the U.S. This fully remote role focuses on end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, and patient-focused clinical trial execution. Ideal for professionals with 5+ years in clinical research and at least 1 year in project management within medical devices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead clinical studies and manage cross-functional teams for timely and high-quality trial delivery

  • Develop study management plans and collaborate with business development for bid defenses

  • Ensure study delivery is within budget, scope, and timelines

  • Identify and mitigate risks, implement corrective action plans

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders

  • Monitor project metrics and ensure financial health of clinical trials

  • Manage vendor relationships and compliance to GCP/ICH and regulatory standards

  • Mentor junior team members and support staff development


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field (required)

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical research experience with at least 1 year in project management

  • Prior experience in medical device trials (orthopedic/spine preferred)

  • Deep understanding of ICH-GCP and clinical research regulations

  • Strong leadership, organization, and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
