Role Overview:
We are seeking a Clinical Medical Manager to join our CDC-India team in Hyderabad. This role is designed for skilled medical professionals with expertise in clinical development strategy, scientific engagement, and clinical trial execution. You will lead the design and implementation of clinical strategies, support early portfolio development, and foster strong relationships with Principal Investigators (PIs) and site staff to ensure successful trial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead clinical trial strategy and execution by providing scientific insights and external engagement.

  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations Therapy Area Leads and Trial Managers on trial planning, start-up, recruitment, and retention.

  • Provide scientific input for trial portfolio reviews, site feasibility, and country allocation processes.

  • Conduct periodic site visits in the assigned geography to discuss trial conduct, strategy, and collect insights from site staff.

  • Contribute to site selection, assess medical capabilities, and identify scientific training needs.

  • Engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) to optimize trial methodologies, mitigate recruitment and retention challenges, and build long-term relationships.

  • Serve as the local subject matter expert for assigned trials, resolving medical queries and communicating early clinical data to stakeholders.

  • Monitor trial performance, identify scientific issues, and recommend proactive solutions.

  • Co-design and deploy scientific knowledge-building initiatives for Clinical Operations and Medical Affairs teams.

  • Map and update clinical care pathways to support effective patient recruitment and retention.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • M.B.B.S with M.D. in a relevant discipline with a strong background in clinical practice or research.

  • 4+ years of experience in clinical or medical affairs strategic roles within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical drug development, clinical trial methodology, and the regulatory landscape.

  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial regulations.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and manage both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and scientific engagement skills.

  • Willingness to travel for clinical trial site visits within the assigned region and to the India Head Office as required.

  • Ability to leverage data-driven approaches and modern technology, including AI tools, for clinical and scientific operations.
