Role Overview

As a Clinical Medical Manager, you will:

  • Be part of a high-performing Clinical Medical team.

  • Drive scientific strategy for clinical trial excellence.

  • Engage with Principal Investigators (PIs) and site staff to optimize trial outcomes and early portfolio development.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Trial Excellence

  • Provide scientific and medical input for trial planning, start-up, recruitment, and retention.

  • Monitor trial performance and proactively address scientific issues.

  • Act as local subject matter expert on products and protocols.

  • Engage with site staff to ensure smooth trial conduct.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with PIs and other key opinion leaders (KOLs).

  • Communicate pipeline and scientific narratives effectively.

  • Contribute to site selection, scientific training, and medical capability assessment.

Organizational Readiness & Capability Building

  • Co-design and deploy knowledge-building initiatives for Clinical Operations.

  • Support early portfolio strategy and pre-launch planning.

  • Introduce Medical Affairs colleagues to KOLs and new therapy areas.

Travel

  • Periodic travel to clinical trial sites in the assigned region and to the India Head Office as required.


Qualifications & Experience

  • M.B.B.S with M.D. in a relevant discipline.

  • 4+ years’ experience in clinical or medical affairs strategic roles in pharma.

  • Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, clinical trial methodology, and pharmaceutical drug development.

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Willingness to travel for trial site visits as required.
